[ --and when Akira comes in, Akito's curled up on the futon he brought into the base when they'd first laid claim to it, pillows all over and blankets on top of that. there's a bit of blue hair sticking out from under a blanket, but aside from that-- probably difficult to tell shark from pillow at this point. ]

[he can't see Akito very clearly, but he can assume what's under all those blankets. Akira moves closer until he's beside the futon, crouching down and reaching over to tug the blanket down gently once he spots that blue hair. no words yet-- he had to check first if Akito was already sleeping or not.]

[ Akito's eyes are closed, but he's definitely still awake. as soon as those blankets were off of his face, his lips pursed, blowing air up at Akira's face. because clearly, that's the right way to greet someone. ]

[--and promptly blows air right back at Akito, playing along with whatever that was.]

...Mm, I probably should have asked ahead of time for you to warm up a pillow for me. [can you hear the pout in his voice, Akito? can you?]

[ a huff, but Akito doesn't retaliate. he just moves over a little until he's pressed up against the wall, so Akira can have plenty of room to get comfortable with. ]

I'll share my pillow.

[before he speaks up again, Akira lays down beside him and drapes an arm over Akito's waist because there had been talk of cuddling before.]

How're you feeling?

[ Akira started it, so there's no reason not to. when that arm drapes over him, Akito leans into it, curls his knees up and leans against the other. it's comfortable, warm, and Akito's the sort who enjoys contact like this. the question has him stiffening for just a moment, before he curls even closer into him. ]

Fine I guess. Just angry, still.

[when Akito presses closer against him, Akira's arm follows, just. hugging him close for a few seconds before his hand ran up and down his back (soothing, he hoped) a few times, then finally just protectively wrapping around Akito to keep him close for as long as he wanted.]

I haven't seen it here. Judging from the times we talk, what I've seen him do or hear he's done, and all the shit he keeps pulling that hurts your feelings? I can't think of a better word to describe it than that.

If I snuck into your bed, kissed you whenever I felt like it, said I loved you when you're obviously not interested in me-- how would you react, Akira? If your team members needed you for something, you'd probably jump to help without thinking anything of it. If Ren-fa came here, what would you do with her?

[a moment's pause, followed by a slight shrug as best as he could.]

[ Akito raises an arm, to tuck it under his head. ]

[and he leaves it at that, since he's been shushed. not that Akira minded a good nap. he blows air at Akito's face one more time before quickly closing his eyes to sleep-- the most innocent.]

[ there's a pause. a very, very long pause, in which Akito-- considers his life choices.

then takes a deep, deep breath, cheeks puffing out from all that air before he blows it right in Akira's face in revenge. ]

[... ack! he wiggles his nose and rubs his face into the pillow in response, cracking one eye open to look at Akito after.]

[ --and leaning forward to blow in his face again-- just closer, this time. ]
